I have been blogging for years in Basque and Spanish. I wanted to do it in English also, but I'm afraid I'm not fluent enough to maintain a full blog... so let's try tumbling!

On March 1st, we will have elections in the Basque Autonompus Community. The campaign will begin shortly, but some parties have begun attacking thei oponents. The actual lehendakari or President of the Community, Mr. J. José Ibarretxe, is said to look very much like Spock. In this sticker I have just found on the street, Mr. Spock appears beside the lehendakari’s electoral moto, “Ahora más que nunca” (Now more than ever).
